LEGO: And now all it needs is a power source…

REBEL SCUM!

LEGO: There be Imperials in there…

…General Veers! I think I see Rebels up ahead!

LEGO: And I’ll form the head…

LEGO AT-AT, now with head

Hell yes! I’m on the last book now and it’s only a matter of time before it’s done!

LEGO: It’s standing on it’s own!

Holy crap that is so awesome! :D

LEGO: Two legs standing (and two feet left over)!

It’s not free-standing yet! Right now it’s leaning on my dry-erase board (with the robot drawing I made on my first or second day) and there are two feet anxiously awaiting their legs. I hope to have all of them on by the end of tomorrow!

LEGO: It’s got a leg!

Also a foot! Next leg to be built and connected tomorrow!

LEGO: Okay, the internals are now stable

The guts are now all connected

Okay, everything is stable now – both sides are built and on, but there’s still a lot to go. I can see how some of the gears work, but I’m not aware of how the joints will be connected. More progress when I return to work on Monday!

LEGO: AT-AT guts look complicated and twisty…

AT-AT guts!

Finding all the fiddly, little parts was a bit difficult as I can’t just pour all the LEGOs out on my desk and sort them by color. Parts of it move though (rotate), and I’m starting to see how it’s going to function. Very cool.

LEGO: That ‘Trooper was getting uppity…

Don't mess with the Force...

Looks like someone woke up inside a Tauntaun this morning…

LEGO: It has begun!

LEGO AT-AT Pieces

So here they are, all the pieces in their separate bags. I don’t know how I will make sense of it, to be honest…
